It's Cob Time again at TLC Farm!
Village Building Convergence: June 3rd-7th
Once again, we'll get muddy together as we participate in our 11th VBC; this year, we'll be hosting natural building work parties to transform our greenhouse using cob and other building techniques to create both a beautiful community gathering place and also a sturdy thermal mass wall to help regulate the greenhouse temperature. This addition complements our new ethnobotanical educational garden/ gathering area.
Join us for work parties Friday June 3rd through Tuesday June 7th,
10:00 am – 4:00 pm every day.
No natural building experience necessary! As always, parking is very limited so please carpool or bike, or catch the shuttle that will be leaving from the VBC central venue (The Refuge, 116 SE Yamhill St, Portland OR 97214) a half hour before work parties begin and returning in time for the evening events. A simple, delicious, nutritious lunch will be provided!
Visit the City Repair site to get more information about VBC projects citywide and the evening events.
Feedback and participation welcome! Please send bug reports to web@tryonfarm.org
